Cuban Architecture

I went to Cuba in 2013 for a Documentary Photography course. By the end of our trip, we were asked to present a series of photographs based on a topic of our choosing. Similar to the comparison of the rich and poor in Cuba, I found the contrast in crumbling architecture to new skyscrapers to be incredibly fascinating. In order for myself to visually understand this place, my documentary project involved converging multiple buildings so to create flat and sometimes optically alluding images.
